It's a boy!!

Chad and I invited his parents and my mom and Nana to go with us to Houston this past Saturday to find out the sex of our little Sweet Pea. I was very nervous that we were going to get there and the baby was going to be in a position that would prevent us from finding out the sex and sure enough this little one is stubborn just like Chad. I laid there for a good twenty minutes as the lady tried to get the baby to move around and unlock its knees. To make a long story short, we ended up coming back three hours later (after having quite a bit of sugar) to try for a final time. Luckily, HE finally unlocked his knees and we were able to see that it's a boy. ( : His name will be Pierce Christopher Bolton. I guess my motherly instinct hasn't kicked in yet. So, now I have to switch my whole mind set and start thinking about boy stuff, which is a lot more difficult. I have already decided on bedding-- maroon and white plaid blanket with maroon, white and a splash of grey striped bedskirt and bumpers. A hint of A&M. ( :
Now just to find the fabric...

I had my Dr's appt this past Tuesday. I am no longer anemic, which is really good. However, I did gain 6 lbs. in a month. Good thing I lost in the beginning--my overall weight gain is only five lbs. and I need to try and keep it under control.
Going on five months. (( :

A few changes.

I have been feeling really good lately. I am able to pretty much eat what I want, although I do get indigestion pretty often. (I can't seem to resist the spicy foods.) I feel like I am finally at a point where I am able to enjoy my pregnancy. I am still frequently exhausted and I have noticed if I stay up late it takes a lot out of me. Fortunately, I do have more energy than I did in my first trimester and have actually even cleaned my house a time or two. ( ;

There are just a few things that have started that I don't care for too much such as, a constant, horrible pain in my tailbone. I try to sit on a pillow at work but it only somewhat helps. I am also noticing, especially in the last week, that my heels are very sore and my fingers are a bit swollen. I haven't been able to wear my wedding ring for the past couple of days. Perhaps it could just be the summer heat?

All in all things are going really well. I have started my pregnancy/first year scrapbook. I haven't been able to do too much because the sex is still a mystery, but my appointment will be here before you know it. Can't wait!!

I AM going to take some belly pictures. I really am.

So we decided...

on a girl name-Avery. We both really like it. It wasn't my first choice but I am liking it more all the time. Chad still wants to use Tyler (his middle name) for the middle name, but I haven't really decided yet.

Apparently I am showing quite a bit and I look further along than I really am (according to several people). I hope I am not having some giant baby. I don't think it is physically possible, right? / :
My clothes may not work too much longer...
